Abstract

This publication is intended to be treated as a handbook for jute. It aims at catering to the need of the users and dealers of jute and jute products. The book contains core information including technical and scientific descriptions to the extent necessary to enable interested readers from varied backgrounds to know and understand jute. Thus, it is hoped that this book will provide a better understanding of the more important aspects of jute as a raw material and the basic processes involved in converting this raw material into various products.
