The Sale of Goods Act originally formed a part of the Contract Act, IX of 1872 and was dealt with in Chapter VII in Sections 76 to 123. The Law became an Independent Law with the title “ The Sale of Goods Act 1930” (Act No. III of 1930). In fact, this act broadly relates to the subject matter of contract. The First edition of the Sale of Goods Act was published in 1975 and the whole stock was sold out long out long ago. Because of popularity and growing demand DLR has taken venture to publish the Second edition in spite of fund constraint and exorbitant price escalation of printing materials. The present edition has maintaind its tradition of improving upon the standard of perfection. Sincere efforts have been made been made to maintain the original style and structure of this book. This edition will cover a distinctive feature with exhaustive index at the end.en_US
