Delimitation of maritime boundaries

Abstract

This book under the heading of the Delimitation of maritime boundaries has grown mainly from my research entitled Delimitation of maritime boundaries with special reference to the Bangladesh – India situation in the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology (UWIST), UK, 1980 – 82. In dealing with different sea zones, the book has made acquaintances with their origins and state practices. It has analyzed the phases of developments on the law of the sea by the states individually, regionally and collectively. The book has examined the practical aspects of the conventional provisions dealing with the Delimitation of maritime boundaries. Furthermore, it has analyzed judicial decisions related to the delimitation.
