Text book on Labour and industrial Law of Bangladesh

Abstract

This Text Book on Labour and Industrial Law has been the outcome of my studies on the same subject matter for teaching in LLB classes on part time basis in the Northern University, Bangladesh- When I started teaching on the subject I planned to publish two books on the same subject matter: one as a manual of Labour and Industrial Law comprising basic laws and rules on Labour and Industrial Law which are the subject matter of LL.B. syllabus. This is because the area of labour and industrial law is very wide compared to available syllabus in universities for students of law. Available books and manuals on the subject are designed for the practitioners and in most cases they contain much more than what the students need; nor are they available with bare Acts and Rules. Accordingly the Manual of Labour and industrial Law has already been published in October, 2005.
