Fifty years of the universal declaration of human rights law

Abstract

Containing contributions by specialists from the intergovernmental and non-governmental worlds and voices of victim/survivors, the book critically reviews the international and regional human rights systems established over the past fifty years in terms of their effectiveness for the victims of human rights violations, and provides future directions for the promotion and protection of human rights.
